Amfiteatrul Transilvania

Moieciu de Sus, Romania

DISCOVER
Traveller,
I built this place by handcrafting every house, every piece of furniture. We have gathered everything that nature offered us: stone, water, wood and fire and we have built the “Amphitheatre Transylvania”, the space where the mountains merge harmoniously with the forests and the springs, the man with his chariots and his thoughts.
Here, time and space are one and the same, there is no hurry and restlessness, but only the perfection of the grandiose nature that will surround and absorb you fully.
Here is the true home, here you will (re)find the soft and pleasant warmth, lost somewhere among childhood memories, you will (re)return to the state of absolute well-being, you will (re)discover the wonder of the world and the deep joy of existence.

Welcome home!

Houses…
Every house is alive, every room breathes and lives with its guests. These houses have been reborn after decades of dampness, storms and rain, snow and sunburn.

Every piece of the house bears the imprint of the old and the new, of the symbiosis of nature and the work of man, who has skillfully and passionately built every detail.

Once you step inside you will be overwhelmed by the fairytale atmosphere of the cottages, where the vegetal smell of the walls together with the soft colours will transport you to another world.

Wake up in the enchanted nest and admire the beauty of nature from the soft bed!

We visited the area and we haven't been accommodated at the hotel and restaurant. The area is beautiful, the views are spectacular and it's a nice weekend getaway. If you would like to eat at the restaurant, is better to book in advance. There is an open place to buy beverages and icecream.

We just stopped to visit the amazing area and eat at the hotel's restaurant. The road until there is unpaved forest road so you should have a proper car. The parking area was crowded when we arrived but we managed to find a place. There are a lot of amazing views and also some trails if you are up for a walk or hike. The food was good but we waited for a while as it was very crowded. I would love to return and maybe try the hotel as well.

Nice view! A lot of sun and very few places with shadow, to rest and cool yourself. Not to many places to sit and drink or eat something. Hard dirth road to reach the location, not for every type of car. Three stars only for the view of the mountains and the valleys.

The road to this place is TERRIBLE, mostly rocks and dirt at a very steep angle, reccomend a 4x4 car or at least with a high wheel base. However the view is breathtaking 5/5
