Pănicel is located on an area of approx. 70.000 sqm, offering a wonderful view over the Bucegi, Piatra Craiului and Postăvarul Mountains, the area being an ideal place of refuge from the urban agglomeration. The estate has no close neighbours, is fenced and guarded 24 hours a day.
Whether you just want some peace and quiet or relaxation, a fishing trip, a horse-drawn carriage ride or even horse-riding lessons with a certified instructor, you can find it all at Pănicel. You can enjoy all this while admiring the mountain panorama.
Relaxing outdoors
Horseback riding is a noble air sport that gives you the feeling of absolute freedom and control. Practicing this sport, whether amateur or professional level, requires the development of a human-horse communication based on mutual trust, but also on some rules that our instructors will explain during your first riding lesson.
You can spend precious time with our horses, ride under the supervision of an instructor or ride on your own in the surroundings if you have the necessary experience. Horse riding is a sport that takes your mind off your worries and fills you with good humour. It only takes a few minutes of riding in Rasnov to feel like a different person. That’s exactly why we recommend you try this sport if you’re passing through. We offer you the necessary equipment and valuable tips for a successful riding lesson, you just have to come with confidence and enthusiasm.
Important Rasnov riding rules:
However well-behaved your horse may seem, avoid passing behind him
Approach the horse with a gentle attitude and a warm voice
Mount the horse only after the instructor has checked the saddle
No noises or sudden gestures are made that may frighten the horse
The riding route is agreed with the instructor
The instructor’s advice will be strictly followed

A natural complement to a traditional cuisine, where the dishes are tasty, fresh and prepared with soul. All the desserts we offer are homemade, natural and preservative-free. We also invite you to taste our unique product, the delicious mace jam!
The diversified menu can be completed with a portion of fresh trout that you are invited, if you have this passion, to fish personally from the lake on the Pănicel estate. All you have to do is choose the warm mince, the mujdee or the brine!

2 months agoGreat location with mountain view. It is a large space with multiple buildings , large parking space, multi functional sport field, lakes , pool and good restaurant. Good breakfast … was our fault that we reached quite late but still we were satisfied. Great stay overall

3 months agoWe went here camping, so I can't say anything about the rooms. I can say about the camp site that it was lovely. Quiet people, big enough so you can also park your car next to your tent (if you want to), safe, with access to toilets and showers, electricity...everything you may need . A plus is the fact that the hotel also has a restaurant which is at a walkable distance.

4 months agoThe location is not bad. Close points of interest like horse riding, hiking, Brașov city, few caves and castles. The hotel is not great. Dirty floors and bathrooms, everything is old and always something is broken. The food is ok, nothing exciting.

a month agoEven the weather was 32 dgr they chose to close the pool. The oner just sold the horses, it seems they don't want to invest any more.... disappointing. Only Catalin the waiter was funny, we spoke, get some info.

3 months agoPool. The pool water is ok, is very crowded, especially with kids, you hear them screaming all over, they are jumping in the pool continuously and you can't relax in the pool. High prices at the bar, few umbrellas and some broken
