2 months agoFabulous hotel. Bedrooms are really spacious. The reason I gave 4 stars for rooms instead of 5 is because you couldn't lower the aircon to what suited you so the room was too warm for my personal liking. 99% of staff were lovely, helpful and efficient. There was one woman working in the bar restaurant who was very unhelpful and aggressive in her approach which was a pity as it had been a lovely stay up until then. Would definitely stay there again though. Great swimming pool area. The food was very good also.

a month agoWent there for a wedding, the location was beautiful, the staff was nice and helpful however the food was disappointing, don't get me wrong it was beautifully plated but the quality and freshness was lacking. Also the fact that the bathrooms were missing soap did not impress me either. We did not use the rooms since it was not necessary, but the place was clean. Maybe our expectations were to high for this hotel...

4 months agoMy experience here wasn't the greatest.. I remember staying here for a surgery, and the night before the surgery, when I needed to get the most sleep, a couple were having a very loud session (I'll leave it to the imagination for what I mean here) in one of the rooms around me, sounded like above. I'd expect this hotel to be sound proofed for this kind of thing? It genuinely kept me up the night before my surgery. For that reason I've gone with 4 stars instead of 5. People are going to do things like that in these rooms, they should be sound proofed accordingly. We had two rooms at this hotel, and both rooms were absolutely ginormous (which explains how the sound carried.. The hotel should account for this). Besides that incident though, my stay was good, I was bed bound for a few days, but I'm glad this is the place I was bed bound, I would avoid the room service, however we got a fair amount of deliveries and the food around us was always fresh and good quality. The location is good, not the greatest, to get into the lively part of town, you will need a taxi. There's a convenience store nearby which is, good but if you want to explore the area on foot, you'll be met by decrepit roads and just an awkward walk overall. The view is insane. One of my favourite parts of this hotel.

4 months agoThe hotel looks luxurious and is very spacious but we didn't enjoy our stay very much. The swimming pool was empty even if we arrived in June, planning to stay there and chill after work. Our window cover got broken and we got a room with the view on the machinery at the roof, very ugly. The worse were breakfasts, even if they end at 10:30, already after 9 am the machine for the pancakes was empty and when I asked for help, the staff just replied that yes it's finished. Still it was another 1,5 hours for breakfast.... The choice was very poor, especially for vegan people - no plant milk or any vegan option except some vegetables and bread. The room was very spacious and the bathroom very pretty - it had a shower and a bathtub with hydromassage so that's a big plus. The design was fine and also there was a good gym at our disposal.

2 weeks agoPRO's: - five-star hotel with five-star service - big and clean rooms with excellent sound proof walls - full mini bar at decent prices - very helpful staff - decent breakfast, could be more diverse - big parking space CON's: - not in the city center (40-minute walk, 20 minutes by public transportation, 12 by taxi) - surprisingly, there was no expresso machine in the rooms - poor tv's in the room, old and non-smart
