Our story
In 1919 the inhabitants of Zarnesti planted fir trees on the hill behind our villa, in the form of a bonfire, in honour of the Great Union of 1918, thus naming the place “Hora cu Brazi”, making the surrounding forest ring with good cheer. We built this villa with the desire to preserve the spirit of those times and just as we used to spend joyful moments in the “Hora cu Brazi”, so let us also spend joyful moments here together.

It will be extremely easy for you to make our villa in Zarnesti a starting point whether you want to conquer the highest peaks of the mountain or just take a few relaxing walks in nature. If you are a lover of mountain biking then you should know that here you will find some of the most beautiful trails you could do in Piatra Craiului.
Less than 800 m from our villa is the entrance to the Piatra Craiului Mountains through the Zarnestiului Gorge. It is an area with dream landscapes that will delight you and will charge you with a lot of energy. And if you just want to relax in peace, don’t worry. Everything is ready!

3 months agoNice place to stay at, especially with children. Quiet during the night, but this depends a lot on the other guests; can relax in the garden during the day and in the games room during day and night also.

Beautiful hotel, amazing views from our room balcony, sparking clean, glorious shower, super nice staff and I would give 10 stars for the breakfast buffet: homemade delicious dishes and cold cuts, and unlimited cappuccino and lattes. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Hora cu Brazi for a heavenly three days stay.

a year agoStayed here at the end of October and liked it very much, will definitely return! Room was clean, comfortable, nice bathroom, good food, friendly staff and the location perfect, on the street that continues with the road/trail to Botorog Fountain and Magura village. It also has a large back yard and a farm area with some animals.
