Hotel Continental

Had a great stay at Continental. Our room had a spectacular view. The staff had met all of our needs and responded to all of our inquiries. Definitely recommend trying out the indoor pool / spa services.

The staff is super accommodating especially the boy on the reception with the broken phone. We had no Romanian money to order take away as we were travelling to Bulgaria from England and they were so helpful even exchange money for us and help us with everything we needed! And we wish we had some more day to stay there the city looks so nice 👌🏿 definitely recommend 🥰

Checkout queue time: 28 mins Actual checkout time: 8 seconds Please implement fast checkout lane for whoever already paid for everything. You’re making us lose time. More tables and a 2nd coffee machine needed for breakfast Ps: drilling and hammering at 9:23 on a Saturday? Srsly?

My room was on the 4th floor towards the main roads in front of the Hotel. The noise from cars and ambulances was awful even with closed windows as they are not sound insulating enough. The room was very nice, just the 2 single beds were quite small and could not be joined completely and were too short for persons over 1,9 meters. The city centre was in close walking distance. Probably the rooms on the rear of the Hotel towards the park are OK noisewise. The personal was very efficient and friendly.

Pro - Location is perfect (center of Timisoara) - Staff very helpful - Close parking - Tea/coffee/bathroom samples are given in quantities and good quality Con : - Swimming pool is not as good as it appears on the photos. Still pleasant but it's part of the gym subscription and it can be quite busy with people from the hotel and the one from the gym - 2 Jacuzzy was out of order (it's temporary)
