Pensiunea Agnes

Lovely place to stay, we stayed here for two nights. Agnes and her husband, the owners of the place, are charming and hospitable people. We were welcomed with homemade affinata (local alcoholic aperitive). The room was very clean, the breakfast was very rich, and good coffee also. There is no doubt that we will return in the future.

The best experience so far in Romania and one of the best ever worldwide! The host was super friendly and helpful, which made our stay relaxing and comfortable. We felt like home. We spent a lot of relaxing time in the comfortable garden, the host helped us order food from a good restaurant, the place offered a wide selection of drinks and really good wine at a very good price. We were really sorry that we had to leave. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the Maramures area. This is the best place to stay at, beautiful and quiet, the owners are awesome, hospitable people trying to make your stay as nice as possible. We'll definitely come back soon!

What a fantastic place to stay, with beautiful gardens and its own restaurant with amazing food. The location is also convenient for the steam train (5 min drive or 25 min walk). We received a warm welcome from the owners Agnes and Dan, who couldn't do enough for us. They speak amazing English and were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in our campervan, and the facilities (two showers and two toilets) were modern and clean. The cost for 2 people in a camper was 60 lei a night, including electricity.

I would give this place 20 stars if possible. The highlights of our stay there are the following: - Very friendly owners. Always ready to help and they make you feel like you belong there. Generally the atmosphere there is like all guest know each other for ages and every evening we stayed until late to talk to each other. - Pet friendly! Seriously, this place is REALLY pet friendly. We stayed there with our golden retriever and there is plenty of space to walk the dog (or to let it run loose) in the huuuge court yard they have. - Children friendly! Our 7 year old daughter spent all evenings playing with the children of the other guests. Literally she did not want to leave the place. - Great location! You are within acceptable reach of all the attractions of the area. - Great price! Very affordable! And very good breakfast included in the price! This place is on my "Visit/stay there again list!". Highly recommended!!!
