Pension Iristar was opened in 2002 and is classified with 4 stars. It was renovated in 2011 and the recent modernisation (in 2021) is a radical one.

Short history
Iristar is the first guesthouse in Fălticeni to offer hotel conditions of the highest class. Situated on the E85 European road at the entrance to Falticeni from Roman, on the right side, the guesthouse offers a superb view of the hilly area of the municipality also known as the City of Museums.
Our activity started in 2002, Iristar succeeded in making itself known for its premium services, customer care, accommodation and food structure, offering tourists the opportunity to rest or work in a quiet environment, away from the crowds.
As a proof and, at the same time, a recognition of the efforts for the permanent improvement of our services, but also of the increase of the clients’ satisfaction, Iristar Pension has received almost every year after its establishment, the diploma and the 1st place in the top of the companies, tourism category (Suceava county).
In 2009 we received the Excellence Award in the tourism category (Suceava county).
Among the personalities who have crossed our threshold are: Prince Cantacuzino and former Prime Minister Adrian Năstase, the American writer Elie Wiessel – Nobel Peace Prize winner, along with a suite of politicians and artists who have visited the beautiful lands of Fălticeni.
The Iristar Guesthouse also had the pleasure to host other distinguished guests from the Spanish delegation led by the Marshal of the Spanish Royal Court, the UN delegation led by Leonard Orban, and the Pentagon delegation.

a year agoBest location to stay in!!! Best value for money!!! Very clean rooms Kind staff Good internet connection Easy access location Futuristic designed interior lights and furniture. Big TV. I'm only sorry i didn't get to taste the breakfast.

4 years agoThis guesthouse is OK. Located on the outskirts of Falticeni (the city is small, so "at the edge" actually means 10 minutes from the center, on foot), it tries to be an elegant place, the typical combination of restaurant and boarding house. The rooms are spacious, clean, but decorated a little dark, which gives them a slightly outdated air. The bed is comfortable, the sleep here is good. The restaurant, like the rooms, is dark, but quite elegant. The food is good and the portions large enough. In summer, the terrace in front of the guest house is nice. The staff is OK, eager to make you feel good and prompt.

4 years agoWorst place I've ever slept at. Smell in the room was horrible and the bathroom was even worse. Had to sleep with the windows open. If there was anything else available in the area and if I hadn't been so tired I would have left. Carpet is full of stains as well. Never again. Restaurant is decent however.
