Popasul Craiului is a small oasis of peace, nature and beauty, the perfect place where you want to get away from the crowded city. That’s why the interior has been decorated in the spirit of picturesque mountain cabins, with solid wood furniture, stone and leather elements in the colours that convey warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.
We offer you 19 rooms with a capacity of 42 beds, arranged on two floors. Each floor has a living area with comfortable sofas and TV.

Riding center
With the riding center you can do riding lessons and for advanced riders, horse riding trails.
Horse riding is not only a hobby and a wonderful sport, but above all an excellent way to relax and interact with nature, offering you at the same time the opportunity to adrenaline, excitement and an incredible feeling of well-being.
For the initiated, the surrounding forests and meadows are the perfect setting for horseback riding, while beginners can learn the rules of horseback riding and the interaction with the horse in the riding school.
Children will be the most happy to get and ride with the cutest ponies.

a month agoVery bad experience at the restaurant! We asked nicely if they had a table for 8, they said that all tables are full and that the people had just arrived. This was not true, because some of the people at the table already had empty plates in front of them, they had already eaten a course. We accepted a table outside, even if it was a little windy. We waited like 10 minutes just to receive menus, in the meantime we saw 6 people leave and we asked if there are any tables free now. The waiter asked us what we want to order, we said we want 7 bean soups in bread and she said they have no bread...we felt like they wanted to get rid of us and we left, and when we told them we are disappointed in the service, the waitress smirked and said "we are sorry". Not coming back here and would not recommend!

5 months agoWe had an amazing time here dining and horseback riding. The food is delicious and we really enjoyed eating on the terrace, but the highlight of this property are the horses and the small trout pond with an amazing view. Our 5-year-old daughter was simply enchanted by the horses and the team caring for them. She went horseback riding a few times and Bogdan, who is responsible for the horses, encouraged her and taught her how to use the reins. We were really impressed with his patience and dedication to his work. Thank you for a wonderful time.

4 months agoPoor service. We specifically asked for lemonade without any kind of syrup, and it came with it. We asked to be changed, and the new lemonade was slammed on the table. Otherwise, the location is very nice and the outdoors and terrace looks good.

3 weeks agoGreat location, but lacks a little in service and room conditions (do not open the window it will rain inside and old, dusty furniture).

5 months agoRooms are pretty basic and a more thorough clean would be nici so they get only 3 stars but the location has splendid views and the staff is nice.
