Bechet is located 67 km from Craiova, 45 km from Corabia and 95 km from Calafat. Through Bechet Port you can
relatively quickly to Sofia and from there to Greece,
this is one of the preferred routes by most carriers, as well as travel agencies, for
Bulgaria to Greece or Turkey.

a year agoThe only option in the area. Rooms spacious and clean (we had an apartment). Beds comfortable and big. Mosquito nets on the windows are a big plus . Parking right in front of the hotel, under front good lights. Also food was really tasty and affordable. My family and our dog felt welcome and will definitely come again if we needed to spend the night in the area. What I disliked though was the lack of any light or outlets next to the beds. Not only that there was none next to the bed, but even those far from the bed, I had to decide if i wanted to have light over there or charge my phone. Big minus also for the noise coming from outside all the time. Big trucks rolling all night long and first thing in the morning gipsies and very loud locals gather at the bar right under your window. If staff weren't so friendly I wouldn't have given this place 4 stars. But with earplugs and all the positive aspects, we had a nice stay.

a year agoThis was a nice spot after a long day. The staff is great. The room, minus the shower was accommodating. A nice, clean, will taken care of locale. Thank you for the room. Meal, and a great breakfast.

6 years agoGreat place! Very welcoming and friendly staff, nice atmosphere at the reception/restaurant! Nice rooms, comfortable beds, flat screen TV, mini fridge, very good Wi-Fi ! Tasty food, breakfast included and great service! No smoking in the rooms (love that!) but you have a balcony where you can enjoy your cigarette! Highly recommended! And all at a good price! Very happy to have stayed here! But, to be fair... They should fix the power outlet near the bed in room 8... Only one works out of the 2 available!

5 years agoUnfortunately, it was the only option in town. Flies were everywhere, sitting on our food. My totally oversalted chicken steak was so well-done it was like chewing rubber. Moreover - it was burnt and therefore bitter. My salad wasn’t flavoured at all. My boyfriends chicken with polenta tasted kind of bitter - like a dirty pot, end of quote. We admit that it might be caused by not being used to these flavours, but we can not recommend this place.
